Kris Armijo

Education Technology Coordinator

Kris is a passionate educator who supports district staff with ed tech integration and is always eager to help! She is uniquely qualified to equip and empower teachers with pedagogical best practices for leveraging technology to transform learning outcomes.

Prior to entering the field of education, Kris came from a background in multimedia design where her love for technology and nerdy personality were born. These traits have been sprinkled throughout her years as an educator. Kris has taught 5th and 6th grade and served as an elementary math interventionist.  Her current position as the Education Technology Coordinator for the Moriarty-Edgewood School District, allows her to blend her passion for technology and her heart for the classroom. Kris holds a master’s degree in Instructional Technology and is a Google for Education Certified Trainer and Educator. In 2019, she also became New Mexico's first Google for Education Certified Innovator (#LON19). She loves connecting and collaborating with other educators from around the world to explore solutions for impacting learning outcomes and promoting student agency!
