Getting Started with Book Creator
Book Creator is a simple and versatile tool that will have you and your students creating and publishing digital books in a snap! This app is now available for all MESD teachers and offers a wide range of multimedia tools to bring digital books to life with audio, video, and other interactive features. Getting Started with Flip
Formerly known as Flipgrid, Flip is a digital platform where educators create safe, online spaces for students to express their ideas and demonstrate their learning asynchronously in short video, text, and audio messages. Intro to WeVideo and Multimedia Creation
Elevate learning, engagement, and creativity with WeVideo! In this session, you will learn video editing fundamentals as you run through the flow of creating, editing, and publishing a video. You'll learn how to access pre-made assignments in WeVideo's assignment library to make student multimedia-creation a regular part of your teaching practice. Watch your students come alive with WeVideo!

Getting Started with Promethean ClassFlow
Promethean's ClassFlow lesson delivery software makes it easy to create interactive activities and lessons that capture students' attention and gives you and your students the tools you need to connect and collaborate. ClassFlow is designed to work with your classroom's Promethean ActivPanel. This will be a hands-on session facilitated by a Promethean Education Consultant.

Schoology: The Elementary Experience
Did you know that the Schoology LMS now offers a simplified, user-friendly interface for the littles? It's true! When you enable the Elementary Experience on your Schoology courses, our youngest learners gain access to a simplified course layout and navigation focused on a more visual and engaging experience. They also get brand new ways to interact and submit their work online, including taking photos and recording audio and video responses! This session will teach you how to give Kindergarten through 2nd Grade Schoology courses a welcomed, kid-friendly makeover for the new school year!

AI in the Classroom
When a powerful new AI chatbot was launched last fall, it caused ripples throughout the education community. Will students use it to do their school assignments? Can we block it? How can we evolve our practice now that it exists? In this session, we'll learn about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and get perspective and ideas on teaching in a world were AI exists.
This extended session, will be segmented into two parts:
Part 1 (9:00am - 10:00am)
We will view a (pre-recorded) webinar by world-renowned educator Matt Miller entitled "AI for Educators: Learning Strategies, Teacher Efficiencies, and the Future."Part 2 (10:10am - 11:30am)
We will take a deep dive into a very interactive discussion to examine both the opportunities and the concerns related to AI in the world of education.
(Please Note: MESD teachers who attend this entire session will be eligible to receive two $35.00 stipends - one for Part 1 and one for Part 2 - totaling $70.00 for the extended session.)
